Pampering Your Pet

In this day and age of pampering the pet with gourmet treats and designer accessories like fashionable collars and toys budgets do need to be watched by many of us.

But Victorian President of The Australian Veterinary Association, Dr Bill Harkin says that expensive toys are not necessary for pets as often the simplest thing like a tennis ball creates the mist fun for your pet. What is most important is that you spend time interacting with your pet and that is something money cannot buy. And when it comes to food, dry food can be very nutritional and if you are buying it in a large bag you will save, you do not need to splash out consistently on gourmet wet food, and left over’s from your meals is a good idea for variety.
